2+2 Agreements

2+2 agreements are for the student who is planning to get a bachelor degree, and has decided not only the major, but where to transfer after Onondaga. This program is not intended for a part-time student or a student unsure of his/her major or where to complete the degree.

With these agreements students apply to both colleges at the same time. Upon successful completion of their two-year Onondaga degree, and if they have met all of the conditions of the agreement, they are guaranteed acceptance to the four-year college. Of course, students can transfer to colleges without the cooperative/joint admissions program agreement. Onondaga students transfer to many colleges across the country.

Applicants are expected to have strong academic records, including Regents preparation in English, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics. Note: Students who transfer credits from another institution are not eligible for this program.

Onondaga has cooperative degree programs with the University at Buffalo, and Syracuse University.
