What You Will Learn:

This A.S. degree program includes two introductory courses, three 3-credit courses, and two five-credit field practicum courses in the option you select. Your options include: Social Work, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling, Assistant Teaching, and Early Childhood Education. Certificates in Early Childhood are also available.

What It Is Like:

This degree program is intensive but supportive. You will share with your peers the same dedication to making a difference in your community and you will have the chance to apply what you learn in the classroom to actual fieldwork experience.

The program prepares you for a wide variety of careers in human services and education. You can start in entry-level positions in public and private organizations, including agencies, hospital-settings, clinics and schools.
