This A.S. degree program includes two introductory courses, three 3-credit courses, and two five-credit field practicum courses in the option you select. Your options include: Social Work, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling, Assistant Teaching, and Early Childhood Education. The program prepares you for a wide variety of careers in human services and education. You can start in entry-level positions in public and private organizations, including agencies, hospital-settings, clinics and schools. Some students also choose to transfer to a four-year program for further study and additional career options.
