Facilities and Technology

As you pursue your education at Onondaga, Criminal Justice courses are taught in Mawhinney Hall in smart classrooms that feature the latest in instructional technology, including overhead projection, audiovisual capabilities, ergonomically designed desks and chairs; and facilitator computers with DVD, VHS, CD-ROM and Internet capabilities.

A new Criminalistics Lab will provide you with hands-on learning to use science to solve crimes. The associated coursework covers investigative police work such as fingerprinting, analysis of blood stains and hair fibers, glass recovery and the examination of firearms as they relate to a crime scene.
