You will develop conceptual skills in digital electronics and computer applications and learn how they apply to a wide variety of industries including: networking, data acquisition, computer support, instrumentation and industrial process control. Additionally, you will learn how to think not only in technological terms, but also in human terms. This A.A.S. degree program draws upon digital and computer technology with equal emphasis on hardware and software. (Please note that this degree program recommends preparation of two years in high school math with good algebra skills. For students who require assistance with math, English and study skills, the Foundations of Technology program is recommended for the student's first semester to provide the proper academic preparation and support necessary for success in this program).Curriculum >
