PHO 150 Black and White Photography II (3 credits)
This course is a study of advanced black and white photographic techniques and theory. Students will work both in film and digitally to produce a portfolio of images. Students will work through a series of assignments that will increase their understanding of the photographic medium. Class time will include lecture, demonstration, critique, and hands-on darkroom and digital laboratory instruction. Writing and reading assignments as appropriate to this discipline are part of this course. Students must have an adjustable 35mm camera and a digital SLR camera. Prerequisite: PHO 100.
